Summary:
The Health Services Specialist will coach, train, and support EHS team/HR/WC manager with investigations, determining risks status, and corrective actions for incidents and near misses throughout the facility. EHS specialist's role is to ensure the implementation of safety policies and regulations in the workplace. Spearhead programs such as observation program/safety audits, train new employees, identify areas of vulnerabilities in the system and run a safety committee. An EHS specialist must also maintain documentation of processes, produce progress reports, prepare presentations, and develop new policies when necessary. Furthermore, it is essential to coordinate with all departments, ensuring safety compliance in all areas.
